About the Virgin
So you wanna know about The Wine Virgin huh? Well, I am just a gal that remembers her “first time” very well and quickly realized that the world of wine was a never ending world of “first time experiences”. I mean heck you could just go to Italy or Spain alone and probably have a new wine and a new “first time” experience once a day for years.
There is just so much to learn and at the same time I just hate the snooty and prissy wine people that claim to be able to tell which side of a vineyard a particular wine came from. I mean sure some of those twerps can but who the hell cares. I drink wines that normal people can afford to drink every day (5-25 bucks a bottle) most of the time. Then occasionally I spoil myself to reward myself for being a “good girl” (well according to me anyway) and splurge a bit.
Then one day I decided to start a site about wine and this site was the result. So I hope you enjoy it, I hope it helps you and above all I hope you ask questions or just comment. Wine is about friends and good times, the more the merrier so salute and please do join in on the fun.
